I have always had a love for art and being creative. I left a career in family law following the birth of my third child.

Whilst at home with my children I began to make cupcakes and cakes for family and friends. From that point on I concentrated on perfecting my decorating skills and cake recipies. I have been lucky enough to be taught by some top London cake designers and in August 2013, my dream became a reality when I set up Samantha's Cake Design.

My tiered wedding cakes feature my signature trend-led colour pallette, clean lines and delicate sugar work.  My attention to detail and passion for cakes, together with really understanding what my client's vision is for their cake on their wedding day or special occasion, means I have quickly built up an excellent reputation.

As well as creating beautiful cakes for clients, I also love to teach others and run select classes.

Peace of mind. . .

Samantha's Cake Design is a registered business. I have successfully completed the level 2 food and Hygiene course and my premises have been inspected and approved by the Enviromental Health Department ("EHD") and I was awarded a level 5, the highest certificate food standard ranking awarded by the EHD.

I am extremely proud to have won a bronze medal for my wedding cake design at Cake International in London.

My wedding cake was exhibited at the Excel Centre, London for three days along with other top leading wedding cake designers from across the World.

In addition, I have had cakes featured in top leading wedding blog sites Rock My Wedding and Fly Away Bride, together with international cake magazines, Cake Geek, Cake International and Party Cakes, as well as locally in Gallery Magazine and the Jersey Evening Post. I have also  given interviews and had tutorials published in Torte de Mama. My cakes have regularly been ranked in the top 15 cakes in the World, several reaching number 1 on CakesDecor.com, a World wide cake website for leading cake designers and I was voted best cake decorator on Berry's Bakeoff.
